Why do they start from lighting?

To contribute to environment, it's one of the easy ways for railway companies to replace older items in each station with newer ones.
In major stations, you can find many items that consume energy.
For example, lighting, electric signage, air conditioning, escalators, and, elevators would be included in them.

Why can it be one mega city?

edition.cnn.com

Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge seems to be one of the strategies to make cities along Pearl River one metropolitan city. It means it's birth of the world's most populated metropolitan area.
Surely, it will be possible to visit Macau with 30 mins from Hong Kong by using this bridge, if it's not affected by traffic jam. But, when it comes to wait for a long time ahead of immigration check at the edge of the bridge, travel time will be longer and sometimes will be longer than current ship.
So, rail transport should have been added to the bridge to ensure puctuality.

Why is eating drinking?

Hong Kong's best dim sum: How to yum cha like a Cantonese
https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/best-hong-kong-dim-sum/index.html

The last sentence reminds me of how to tell a waiter it's time to pay in English. I've said "Check!" overseas.
But, the article says "closing the bill".
I didn't know the phrase.

Anyway, dim sum is not popular as its name, but famous as Yam Cha(Meaning "Drinking tea")
So, I understood why eating dim sum means to drink tea after reading the article.

Why don't you take the second airport rail in Kuala Lumpur?

Second airport rail link opens in Kuala Lumpur

After Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Shanghai, Taipei, and Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur became the city that has 2 airports both of which are connected with downtown of the city by rails.
Unlike other cities in South East Asia, Kuala Lumpur has made use of conventional freight rails to commence urban rails.
Newly opened airport rail is also one of the examples.

Why is it the first time in Japan to allow gambling?

Casino giants itching to place bets on Japan

Japan's biggest actual casino still exists in Japan. It's pinball games, also named "Pachinko". Basically, gambling is banned in Japan. But, pinball games are allowed without official notice or law.
So, if casino is to be built in Japan, the similar issues of the pinball games will happen.

Therefore, it will be helpful for expanding casino to think about how to solve the issues on Pachinko.

Why is it a supreme journey to cruise on the sleeper coaches?

Riding the world's most luxurious train with the visionary designer who built it
https://edition.cnn.com/style/article/cruise-train-seven-stars-japan/index.html

The designer said "I got inspiration from Orient Express." and "Japanese have thought the greatest journey is to visit Europe and United States."
But, ironically, most of the rooms on the train are much more rip-off than Orient Express and than visiting Europe and United States.
And, the sleeper coaches are not for business use. The train just cruises in Kyusyu Island. Passengers must get off and on the train at the designated stations, and where to visit is also designated in some cases.
We had better treat the train as attraction rather than as transportation.

Why is it inconvenient to live in a higher floor of skyscraper?

Dubai's Burj Khalifa: Inside the world's tallest building
https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/burj-khalifa-dubai-guide/index.html

As is often the case with skyscrapers, it's difficult to assign each tenant to each company.
Higher floors can get better view, while it's more troublesome to get there, especially when elevators are crowded.

One of the tallest apartments in front of Musashi Kosugi Station, suburb of Tokyo, was taken up on the Internet news for its long queues to get in the station during morning rush-hour.

Though skyscraper is a symbol of urbanization or flourishing economy, it seems to be inconvenient to dwell on too high floors.
