Why is there heavy haze?

Breathing in Delhi air equivalent to smoking 44 cigarettes a day
http://edition.cnn.com/2017/11/10/health/delhi-pollution-equivalent-cigarettes-a-day/index.html

While Beijing's haze has been famous, Delhi's would be much more serious.
One of the reasons is that pavement rate in Delhi is not high. And then, soil dusts would be soared in the sky
Second, public transportations like subway are not enough good, considering the population in Delhi.
Third, emission gas regulation in India is not as strict as in developed countries.
Fourth, because of economical growth in India, there are a lot of construction sites emitting particles.

For the time being, Delhi City has to restrict economic activities except for construction of public transportations and any other activities contributing to environment.

Why can Hong Kong keep the biggest turnout?

The top tourist destinations in 2017
http://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/top-tourist-destinations-2017/index.html

The reason why Hong Kong gathered the largest number of visitors is that it's neighboring with the most populated nation. But, People's Republic of China's passports are not allowed to enter Hong Kong without visas. So, if the regulation is to be eased, Hong Kong will lure much more tourists.

Why are they usable like the latest buildings?

Why warehouse conversions are sweeping the globe
http://edition.cnn.com/2017/10/26/world/industrial-renovation-one-square-meter/index.html

It's a good idea to use unused warehouses. But, we have to pay attention to durability against earthquake. As is often the case with an old building, it doesn't meet construction criteria.
So, in some cases, it costs a lot to strengthen the durability to meet the current criteria.

That would be the most important thing when using an old warehouse.

Why are they devoted to reporting Trump's Asian Tour?

Melania Trump embraced by Japanese students, practices calligraphy
http://edition.cnn.com/2017/11/06/politics/melania-trump-tokyo-day/index.html

While Trump family visited Japan, Japan's news agencies took up their details as if they were an actor and an actress in the United States.
Though some Japanese think that such an enthusiastic way of broadcasters is specific to Japan, CNN seems to report in the same way.
But, at the last part of the article,
CNN says "the reprieve from official bureaucratic duties was brief"
That's the last thing Japan's media would say.

Why are they double decker trains?

Aeroexpress Kiss EMUs enter revenue service
http://www.railwaygazette.com/news/passenger/single-view/view/aeroexpress-kiss-emus-enter-revenue-service.html

Considering the capacity of Aeroexpress, I wonder why the trains have to be double decker trains.
Now, Aeroexpress train has been operated at the interval of 30 mins. So, it's not difficult to operate trains more frequently, instead of installing double decks.

Why is it free only in the morning?

Free pre-peak travel in Singapore to end
http://www.metro-report.com/news/news-by-region/asia-pacific-ex-china/single-view/view/free-pre-peak-travel-in-singapore-to-end.html

In Singapore, it's interesting that pre-peak free pass campaign just contributed 7% shift from peak hour to pre-peak hour . It means just passengers increased by 20-30% during pre-peak hour.
On the other hand, in Japan, Tokyu implemented free ride campaign on Ikegami Line on October 9, the number of passengers increased by 270%.

Judging from this difference, Singapore LTA should have examined effects of free pass campaign during evening for commuters' round trip.

Why is the only one station elevated?

Qilin Tram in Nanjing, China opened
http://www.urbanrail.net/as/cn/nanj/nanjing.htm
or
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trams_in_Nanjing

5 subway lines, 2 suburban rails ,and 2 tram lines consist of Nanjing's rail network. Additionally, one more suburban rail will begin operation in the near future.
According to Wikipedia, just one of the stations on Qilin tram is elevated. I wonder what happened to the elevated station.
