It's been a mysterious phenomenon that Japan is the only Eastern Asian country that continues women only cars around the country's metropolitan cities.
Seoul and Taipei have tried it. But, it resulted in turning down its permanent use. China and Hong Kong have never tried.
Instead, Shenzhen begins women priority cars. I guess that Shenzhen chose milder option, considering controversy over women only cars in Japan.
It's interesting to see what Shenzhen Metro will do next.
