Why are these cities expensive to live?

World's most expensive cities to live in
https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/worlds-most-expensive-cities-2019/index.html

The survey must consider average income around each city in addition to the cost of the items.
Especially, almost all the cities ranked between 1st and 10th are in the countries where average income is relatively high.
So, fair comparison would be the value of the cost of the items divided by average income.

Why don't we want airport hotels far from airports?

Cliveden: The world's most historic airport hotel
https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/cliveden-house-airport-hotel-london/index.html

When we use an airport hotel, we tend to focus on how cheap it is and how far it is from the nearest airport.
That's because staying there is not the main purpose. Most of the reasons why we use airport hotels are landing during midnight and taking-off from the airport early in the morning. It means that we can't stay long.

Why is Edmonton LRT impressive for me?

www.metro-report.com

Edmonton light rail is impressive LRT in terms of passing through university, the university of Alberta. While I was in university, I've seen a professor coming from the university of Alberta. He delivered a speech as a guest professor. But, I didn't have a chance to talk with him, much less a chance to talk about Edmonton LRT.
I'm looking forward to seeing development of the northernmost LRT system in Americas.

Why will the high speed train run through Marmaray suburban rail corridor?

www.metro-report.com

Ankara–Istanbul high-speed railway is expected to extend to Istanbul New Airport by overpassing Bosporus strait. But, will this route pass through Marmaray suburban rail corridor?
According to the web page on Wikipedia, we can see the sentence "Along with commuter trains, high-speed and intercity trains will also use the tunnel along with limited freight service."
In addition to the fact that it's making a detour, local trains are running at 8 minutes interval. Under this condition, it will be difficult to operate freight trains and high speed trains.

Why is Mario Kart far from reality?

The 'new futuristic championship' aiming to connect with fans
https://edition-m.cnn.com/2019/03/09/sport/stoffel-vandoorne-formula-e-hwa-racelab-mercedes-spt-intl/index.html?r=https%3A%2F%2Fedition.cnn.com%2F

Mario Kart has a lot of courses which cannot be realized. For example, there are many disrupted roads which section is supposed to make cars jump over.
In the game, if you failed to jump over the section, your car would soon be returned to somewhere on the course automatically without any dent. But, if your car drops in the section, it will be broken to the extent that your car cannot run again. And in some cases, the driver will be killed.

Alternatively, Mario Kart can be realized by VR.

Why do they want to abolish all the neon signs?

The photographer who captured Hong Kong's disappearing past
https://edition.cnn.com/style/article/keith-macgregor-hong-kong-disappearing-past/index.html

Neon signs have been the symbol of Hong Kong, while they are being removed due to safety issues.
I think that the local government should have thought about how to preserve them in a limited area by ensuring safety.
For example, adding supplementary beams on neon signs would be a way to do so.
