Since double tracking and electrification of the conventional line in Malaysia are proceeding, we will see smaller gap between travel time of high speed rail and conventional line.
So, there will be argument that maximum speed of high speed rail should be upgraded.

In those days, shutter speed was so slow that photographed people had to open their eyes continuously, while taking photo. It means their eyes seem differently from real ones.
So, it doesn't make sense to speculate their emotions by facial expression.

Travel time between London and other cities in France and Belgium is shorter than using aircraft between them, because of required time getting to or coming back from airports and baggage inspection. But, UK requests passengers coming from Europe by rail to go through passport inspection even when UK is a part of EU.
So, total time required to move between UK and other cities there by air is not much longer than that by train.
In order to operate Eurostar service between UK and Germany, simplifying passport checks and raising maximum speed of Eurostar will be necessary.

China seeks a way to ensure money after estimated depression which will be caused by low fertility and aging society.
Just construction of infrastructure is not a good means to earn money in developing countries amid high inflation.
Owing land or imposing debt would be better way to get money in the long run.
