Why do they rent middle-aged men?

edition.cnn.com

Basically, all of the citizens who have grown up in Japan are educated to respect elderly people.
So, it means they cannot ask older people about impolite questions, and they assume older people must tell them correct ways to live happily, because they are worthwhile being respected.
These two reasons would be boosting demand for "Ossan Rental(renting middle-aged men)"
That is, by renting anonymous middle-aged men, young people want to communicate with them without hesitation, and ask them about what they should do in the future.

This business will last as long as Japan's age-incremented society lasts.
