That Middle Eastern country began blocking Wikipedia

Though it's widely known that Chinese Communist Party bans to access to Twitter, Line, Facebook ,and Wikipedia,
Turkey began the similar restriction. According to the article below, the country has blocked social media like Twitter and YouTube.

I thought it's terrifying to see media censorship in democratic countries. Like Trump, there seems to be more and more politicians are looking down on general voters, and implement undemocratic policies.
The only way to resist this trend is that voters must choose candidates who comply laws severely.
