US, Iraq say ISIS blew up famous Mosul mosque

I think that the purpose of ISIS is extreme destruction and massacre. If they would like to preserve principle of Islam, they won't blow up mosque.
Anyway, the territory of ISIS in Iraq and Syria seems to have disappeared.
When I knew the existence of ISIS, its territory expanded to large parts of Syria and Iraq. Then, I thought it would take tens of years to recover the territory.
But, as a result, with cooperation of Iraqi troop and American troop, almost all the territory became under control of Iraq in a few years.
