Iconoclasm is common sense for Islamic principalists. That may be why many sculptures are partially destroyed. We should respect every religion as far as we can. It means we should allow everyone to believe any religion as far as no one is significantly bothered by another religion. But, iconoclasm actually destroys symbolic things of the other religions. So, people with that mind must be cracked down or change their minds.
