The sentences "Turbo-charged parents still running their university-aged children's schedules, laundry and vacations could be doing more harm than good" reminds me of my life.
In terms of laundry, I am still dependent on my mother. Though I don't know whether this affects my college life, it is quite different from ordinary students' college lives.
Partly, I also agree with the idea. I've never seen smart students whose mothers educate them earnestly.
What is needed for parents is to keep distance from students.
