Should AI be used to catch shoplifters?

It's one thing to select suspicious people by AI. It's another to decide criminals by AI. The former would be permissive, while the latter would cause error.
The best way is to let AI select suspicious people, and then shop owners focuse on their activities until witnessing crimes. And then, the criminal should be arrested.
