Why do Okinawan people live longer?

Though Japan itself is one of the countries where people live longer than average, Okinawa is outstanding in the country. As well as diet habits, I guess its society would also affect longevity.
"Nankurunaisaa" is the common word there, meaning "I won't mind such a thing."
Unlike Japan's main island, where people live under stress of extreme punctuality and precision about everything, Okinawan society is less stressful.
