Why don't you choose transferring?

Rather than boarding long haul flight, I prefer hopping cities by transferring short distance airplanes.
But, it's possible when airplane flys above continent or large island. Between Singapore and New York, there seems to be just sea except for American continent.
So, it won't be possible to hop the cities.
