Are these tube homes the answer to Hong Kong's housing problem?

In addition to high population density, excess investment from Mainland China on housing in Hong Kong is raising property price and lets people choose smaller houses.
But, after the end of flourishing economy and population increase in China, property price will be plummeting and tube homes will no longer be favored.
