Dhaka is the 19th largest city in the world and the second largest city in the world's cities without urban rail systems.
It means that the city as big as Los Angeles, Istanbul, Chongqing, or Osaka doesn't have any metro system.
But, the day will come when Dhaka clears the stigma.
Dhaka Metro adopted 1435mm gauge, which is different from National Railway's 1000mm or 1676mm. So, Metro doesn't include plan to start through service to National Bangladesh Railway networks.
