With opening of the metro, all the stations that the fastest train named 'G79 train' on Beijing-Guangzhou High Speed Rail stops have metro stations.
Beijing West: Beijing Metro Line 7 and 9
Shijiazhuang: Shijiazhuang Metro Line 3
Zhengzhou East: Zhengzhou Metro Line 1
Wuhan: Wuhan Metro Line 4
Changsha South: Changsha Metro Line 2
Guangzhou South: Guangzhou Metro Line 2 and 7
Futian: Shenzhen Metro Line 2, 3, and 11
Even if the high speed rail extends to West Kowloon in Hong Kong, all the G79 train's stopping stations will have metro lines. That's because Kowloon station on MTR Tungchung Line and Airport Express will be used as an interchange. And, Austin Station on MTR East West Line will also be an interchange for West Kowloon station.
