In communist countries, we can see luxurious decorations or design on subway platforms.
For example, subway platforms in some Russian cities, Pyongyang ,and Beijing Metro Line 2 have typical ones.
In those countries, they wanted to make the subway systems symbol of prosperity of communism.
But, ironically, after installing capitalism and economic growth, they are reluctant to adapt gorgeous design.
