It's ironic that most of the Taoists and Buddhists allow LGBT in Taiwan, though Taoism and Buddhism are common in Eastern Asian countries, where LGBT is not sufficiently accepted.
And, a friend of mine told me accepting LGBT accelerates low fertility rate, because social pressure against LGBT discourage LGBT to marry the same sex, and they will choose marriage with different sex.
LGBT issue is related with many kinds of social issues such as religious belief or fertility rate.
