Until 2000s since World War ?, European countries has aimed at unification, while these countries are trying to be independent from EU in 2010s.
I guess it's the results from emerging nationalism or ethnism caused by unstable economic state deriving from countries in debt crisis or immigrants' unstable employment.
In other words, people in Europe can't afford to help others. Otherwise, politicians encourage self-centred policies.
