As far as I know, outstanding opposition between N.Korea and United States hasn't been reported recently in Japan.
So, it seems strange that N.Korean politician announced that suddenly.
Judging from the statement "United States (US) policy toward North Korea has made the Korean peninsula the most dangerous place ", N.Korea doesn't want to welcome tourists from foreign countries.
