Travel diary on Aug 25, 2012
One of the girls booked a tour to Yosemite National Park. So, we took a micro bus to go there. Because the tour was conducted by Japanese, it was easy for me to listen to tour guidance.

MacArthur Freeway
At first, we dropped in at a filling station in Ripon, a rural town in California state.
We run on California State Route 99 to Merced. San Joaquin, which is a railway route between Bakersfield and Oakland-Jack London, runs along the road. I found 2 or 3 kinds of freight trains.

From Merced, our car headed for Yosemite via Mariposa.

At Yosemite, I bought a souvenir, and ate hamberger. Though the tour guide had said to us "Be careful of squirrels' attacking your food", we had no damage.
Famous scenery
Around 14:30, we left Yosemite for the hotel. On our way to the hotel, we dropped in at a fruit farm.
