It is a good example to make use of waterway. A bad example of that is submitted by the mayor of Osaka city. The plan is to use Dotonbori river as a swimming pool. Dotonbori river is famous as a dirty river and as a spot, into which frantic fans of Hanshin Tigars baseball team dive.
In order to make it profitable, admission fee is estimated to be 1000 JPY per hour.
Who wants to spend 1000 JPY swimming in that river?
