Why don't you see subway trains with diesel locomotives?

www.railway-technology.com

I'm not sure whether I took up this metro long time ago. But, I'd like to take up here.
Its metro system is built by a rail company in China. It doesn't seem to be strange, considering current examples of the railways in Africa.
But, if you see the picture on the website, you will notice that metro train is hauled by diesel locomotive. I've never heard a railway built as a metro line has trains running by diesel or steam engine, except for London Tube, which initially operated steam locomotives before commercial use of electric trains.
After electrification, diesel locomotives will be removed. So, it's time to experience diesel-powered metro.

Why did they take up LaView?

edition.cnn.com

I was surprised at the article, because this train is taken up in the general news on CNN.
Among rail fans in Japan, the train is nicknamed as "penis", because its shape on the front side is similar to Glans penis.
Anyway, this train is the newest type on Seibu Line, which extends from Tokyo to its suburban Saitama prefecture. Though the rail line mainly plays a role as commuter line, its terminus is one of the famous sightseeing spots. Then, the train is designed for tourists.

Why are they interested in chemical reactions without gravity?

Astronauts make concrete in space for the first time

Chemical reactions without gravity are interesting in some cases. But, when it comes to reactions between atoms whose electrons are moving radically regardless of gravity, I guess gravity won't affect reaction mechanisms at all.
So, there would be a few chemical reactions which behave differently in space.

Why did they gather at the stations?

Typhoon leaves 100 flights canceled and 1 million without power in Japan
https://edition.cnn.com/2019/09/09/asia/typhoon-faxai-japan-intl-hnk-scli/index.html

Yesterday, JR East announced disruption of train services until later than 8a.m.
Despite its warning, some passengers rushed to their nearest stations. For example, JR East restricted entry into Nishi-Funabashi Station at 5:30, which was 30 mins after the storm made landfall in Chiba.
I wonder why they rushed to the stations, despite its announcement.

Why can they move US?

www.scmp.com

There is no motivation for US to interfere with problems in Hong Kong. US knows that everytime they promoted democratic movement in Middle-Eastern countries, the results became chaotic status like simultaneous eruption of terrorist groups. So, the US wouldn't like to repeat the same history. And, China's liberation party is expected to be much stronger than armies of Middle-Eastern dictators. It is too dangerous for the United States to attack China's army. What is needed for protesters in Hong Kong is to show benefits for US to support Hong Kong.

Why don't you visit the world's biggest Starbucks?

edition.cnn.com

One of the reason why some people want to drop in at Starbucks coffee shops is its interior design. They want to indulge in relaxed atmosphere. So, it means they want to stay longer than people who just drink something out. It leads to crowded Starbucks coffee shops.
So, bigger shop like this is desirable to accommodate more customers.

Why is this stadium covered with forest?

Forest grows in the middle of a football stadium

It is often the case with abolished stadiums that plants are growing elsewhere in the stadiums strangely.
Though it seems to be weird, forests planted in this stadium don't seem to be weird. That's because the stadium itself is maintained and kept clean.
