Why don't you visit Cambodia by rail?

www.railwaygazette.com

So far, this is the only rail in Cambodia, which connects the country and neighboring nations.
While the rail should be connected with Cambodian capital of Phnom Penh, I'm proposing branching line from Sisophon to Siem Reap, the second famous city in Cambodia as heritages. It would be 100km. I guess many tourists would like to take trains from Bangkok to Siem Reap.

Why are they there?

Thailand cave rescue: Friends say boys ignored warnings
https://edition-m.cnn.com/2018/07/05/asia/thailand-cave-town-intl/index.html

In unauthorized caves, ruins, and abandoned mines, it's too dangerous to explore without exparts.
I've heard that there are victims who died there, because they lost ways or fell into big holes.
So, those who are stuck in Thailand cave should have known that.

Why don't you see aircraft carrier?

Airbus unveils Beluga XL complete with whale-themed livery
https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/airbus-beluga-xl-new-design/index.html

Amid declining of jumbo jets, inauguration of the new Beluga is an important chance to see huge aircrafts.
Other interesting thing is to see how components of the aircrafts are carried into the Beluga.
Few people have seen aircrafts in aircrafts.

If there is an open-airport festival to show such a moment, I'd like to join.

Why do they prepare earlier than needed?

Dalian metro Line 2 extended
http://www.metro-report.com/news/news-by-region/china/single-view/view/dalian-metro-line-2-extended.html

When I visited Dalian last month, there had already been signage showing "This platform is for Xinzhaizi", even though all of the trains were bound for Airport, and don't reach Xinzhaizi.

As is often the case with metro in China, signage is renewed, even if extension is scheduled months later.
That's probably because authorites cannot afford to take care of signage, due to frequent extension of metro lines.

Why is zero tolerance policy horrible?

Philippines mayor Antonio Halili shot dead by sniper, police chief says
https://edition-m.cnn.com/2018/07/01/asia/philippines-mayor-halili-tanuan-shot-intl/index.html

Zero-tolerance policy is not good in terms of various reasons.
First, it causes fatal judgement on innocent people who are mistakenly arrested.
If they are sentenced to death, it's horrible.
Second, without preparing for alternative job for drug traffickers, they would lose job, and then starve to death or rush to other crimes.
Third, relatives of those people would hate leaders radically, and try to kill them in some cases like this incident.

Why are there so many elderly people in Japan?

edition.cnn.com

As average longevity increases, there will be more and more elderly people, as long as definition of elderly people unchanges.
Though Japan's aging society is often attributed to low fertility rate, it's not the only reason. The other reason is that more and more people could live longer than before. It means population of elderly people are increasing, even if fertility rate remains.
Increasing longevity means people can work until higher age. So, we had better change limitation of age in working place and definition of elderly people.
